WITF Passport FAQ

How do I set up WITF Passport?

WITF Passport is available from WITF for members with a yearly minimum contribution of $60 or an ongoing minimum monthly contribution of $5 and have a valid email address on file with WITF.

If you are not a current WITF donor, visit witf.org/passport and click on JOIN to make a gift and start streaming.

If you are already a WITF donor, please check your email for a message from WITF or PBS with your activation information. If you are not sure if you’ve already activated or you don’t know your code, use the Member Lookup to access your WITF Passport membership information.

If you cannot find this email and the Member Lookup does not provide the information you need, please contact us for further assistance.

Please be sure to check your junk or spam email folder. If you do not find the activation email there, please contact us and we will resend the activation link to the email we have on file for you.

Download the free PBS video app on your Smart TV and sign in with the same email address and activation code you used to activate your account. PBS Video app is supported by Apple TV, Android TV, Roku, some Samsung Smart TV (Tizen) models, Amazon Fire TV, and Chromecast.

Our membership database did not sync properly with Passport’s membership account. Please contact us and we will manually connect your account.

You might not be using the same account or sign-in method on your TV as you used to activate your account in the PBS Video app. Try signing out of the app on your TV and signing back in using the same information used to log into WITF Passport on your computer.

In the PBS video app, click on the profile icon, sign out and close the app. Then, re-open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to sign into the correct account.
