Ready, Set, Explore Media and Makers

At Ready, Set, Explore Media and Makers, children and teens (ages 3 – 14) will explore STEM concepts, ignite their curiosity, and practice problem-solving abilities. Plus, The Cat in the Hat will be there to inspire everyone’s creativity!
Through teamwork and collaboration, families will enjoy hands-on activities that prepare them for future success in innovative and inclusive environments.

Ready, Set, Explore Media and Makers offers kids and teens the opportunity to experience an introduction to new technologies, resources and tools, while providing the media literacy skills to critically analyze content in today’s digital world.
During this free event, your family will engage in a variety of STEM activities featuring coding and robotics, explore green screen technology, and meet a journalist and graphic designer.
Ready, Set, Explore Media and Makers will take place outdoors. If it rains, the event will move inside the Lancaster Public Library, 151 North Queen Street, Lancaster.
