Luke Capper Competes at the Scripps National Bee!

Congratulations to Luke Capper on competing in the Scripps National Spelling Bee!  Luke was the winner of the 2016 WITF Central PA Spelling Bee at WITF in February.  Luke did an outstanding job at the national bee, correctly spelling words like “paroxysmal” and “edenic” in rounds two and three, but did not qualify for the finals.

Luke is an 8th grader at St. Joseph School in Mechanicsburg.  In addition to spelling, he enjoys history, science and geography.
