June pick of the month: “Circe” by Madeline Miller

June’s pick is Circe by Madeline Miller. Circe is a bold retelling of the Goddess’s story which manages to be both epic and intimate in its scope and recasts the most infamous female figure from the Odyssey as a hero in her own right.
